Today is Christmas. We had to wake the girl up at 7:00 because we are traveling south to my parents house this morning too. At first Sara did not see the gifts, but when she did,
her eyes got huge and she was so excited. This is the first year for having Christmas for two, double the gifts. First we gave them the super cool chair, which they sat in for the rest of the morning (Garden Ridge)

Then 2 1/2 hours later we were off for our LONG drive south, where the rest of the family gathered first for a feast, then the opening of gifts. My mother once again outdid herself with a wonderful meal.Next was the all night card game and Ruth and I trying
